Race With History is a multi-media and community dialogue project that presents little-known events in America's history and their legacies
today. Current public radio documentaries in the project offer a powerful look at the history of African American and European/white relations in the U.S. during the period between
the Civil War's end in 1865 until the birth of the modern Civil Rights movement in 1954. The programs rely on primary source materials in the form of rare oral history recordings, documented eyewitness accounts, and
readings of memoirs and diaries by descendants of participants in the events. The Race With History project seeks oral histories, music, dance, poetry and all forms of cultural
expression that can help tell the untold stories of people whose roots are in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and all parts of the globe. Many such stories remain to be told, discussed, turned
over in our minds for their meaning, like cave drawings or trail maps of broken twigs, like moss on the side of a tree or the drinking gourd in the sky. We seek partnerships and collaborations with
anyone interested in creating new ways to tell this untold history to the world.

& Reconciliation discussion materials, call 1-800-481-8482 or write admin@cchange.org.
